Uh…that is not a dream/nightmare. Just as I’m breathing a little better hearing negative comments about cabinet picks, thinking that, of course, they won’t confirm the obvious bad picks. And here comes Rep Sen Ernst and others with second thoughts. So, I have decided that these second thought people are not necessarily wanting to climb the ladder, they just don’t want the ladder pulled away from them. So much to lose sleep over, isn’t there?
I believe Americans have become fed up with government bureaucracy. In Trump, in spite of charges and convictions, see someone is pro-America, not afraid to keep other countries on edge, voicing what many people still believe and not afraid to say it. He projects strength and after past President disaster no real surprise he is exhibits what Americans are looking for. Right, wrong or otherwise this is how it appears to me. And as can be easily figured out I had no question voting for him compared to the other candidate as it do0es appear from the voting outcome. .
Max Blumenthal was escorted out of the State Department briefing room today after he repeatedly asked hard questions that Secretary Blinken did not wish to answer. A few minuted later, my friend Sam Husseini was physically carried out of the briefing room by three security guards while he shouted at Blinken, "Why are you not in The Hague?", three times no less.
Trump, whatever his faults, has somehow found a way to bring about a ceasfire in Gaza, a temporary respite at least, after well over a year of genocidal slaughter of defenseless Gazans, mostly women and children, which has been witnessed by billions of people around the globe. Max and Sam tried to give bloody Blinken something resembling the send-off he so richly deserved at his last press briefing as Secretary of State.
I've heard people express the opinion that Trump is a Molotov cocktail that voters decided to throw at the citadel of special interest money and corruption that is Official Washington.
I've heard others say, "Genocide is a deal breaker."
The Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide, to which our government is a signatory, is not a long document, nor is it boring or difficult to understand. More Americans should read it and ponder for a few moments what the rest of the world must think of us now.
The second coming and I’m terrified.
These days I keep asking; who are we?

Thanks for naming the situation so well.
